No news is good news?

Again, nothing has been going on for the Riggan family. We recently celebrated my 30th birthday by going to Woodfire Grill. If you're fans of the show Top Chef, then you would recognize Kevin Gillespie as he is the executive chef and part owner. We had a really good meal (and quite expensive!), but we got to sit in front of the wood fire grill, which was really neat.

This past weekend, we went apple picking with my family. The weather was hot, and the place was packed. Last year, we went to the same orchard, and it wasn't that full. However, there was an article in Southern Living that highlighted this orchard, and I think that's what caused the extra turn out. When we were leaving, there was traffic backed up for 2 miles to enter into the orchards. Craziness.

And you know, I can't write a post unless I mention Elijah. He is slowly getting used to sitting up on his own. He's also eating solid foods so well. He's already eating 4 ounces, which is unreal to me. I have him on a 2 nap schedule now, which has been a struggle for me. I have less time to myself and this requires more patience to entertain a baby. Overall, he's still as happy as he can be.

Anyway, here's a little video of Elijah talking. He's quite vocal now and sounds like a little banshee when he talks.
